Overview
(01)
A name-to-website identity for a plant-filled cafe: mark, colours, menu, signage and a site that shows the room.
The brief
Two friends were opening a cafe in a former print shop. They had a lease and a coffee machine, but no name, no menu and no idea what the outside should say.
What we made
We named it after the two things in the room: slate counters and lots of green. The mark is a single leaf on a slate square. One green, one cream, one type family. The menu is set in two sizes only. The website shows the room first and the menu second, and keeps opening hours on every page.
Result
The cafe was busy from week one. The brand appeared on cups, doors, tote bags and a hand-painted sign, and it was still consistent a year later without us in the room.

In their words
(03)
People say the place feels calm before they have even sat down. That is the brand doing its job.
