Overview
(01)
A five-page site and a pre-order shop that lets regulars reserve tomorrow's loaves before they sell out.
The brief
Harbour & Rye bakes about four hundred loaves a day and sold almost all of them across the counter. On busy mornings the queue ran out of the door and the good loaves were gone by ten. They asked for a website where regulars could reserve bread for the next day.
What we built
A small, warm site with five pages: home, the bakes, the story, visit and contact. The shop is one page with a date picker, a basket that remembers your usual, and a hard cut-off at 8pm the night before. Every bake has a real photo, a plain description and the flour it is made from.
What changed
Pre-orders now make up almost half of daily sales. The bakers know how much to make, waste dropped, and the queue moved from the door to the pavement, where it is much shorter. Local search brought in a steady flow of new customers for the first time.

In their words
(03)
We used to turn people away at ten. Now half the shelf is spoken for before we open the door.
