Overview

(01)

Forty plain-English repair guides, a booking page for workshop slots and a monthly email that keeps the shop busy in winter.

The brief

Marlow Bikes has a busy workshop in summer and a quiet one in winter. Nell wanted steady work all year, and wanted new riders to feel welcome rather than judged.

What we did

We wrote forty guides for the questions riders really ask: how to fix a flat, why the chain skips, what a service includes. Each has photos taken in the shop, a parts list and a clear price for doing it for you. A monthly email sends one guide and one offer.

Result

Search visits more than doubled in a year. The workshop now books ahead all winter, and the guides bring in first-time customers who say they read one before they called.

The guides answer the question, then say 'or bring it in'. Half the time they bring it in.
