Stirring roasted beans

Overview

(01)

A six-week launch for three new roasts with a countdown, a tasting box and an email series that paid for itself.

The brief

Corvid roasts small batches for cafes and had never sold directly to homes. They had three new coffees and six weeks. The goal was 1,000 tasting boxes.

The plan

We wrote a calendar with one action per day: teaser, waitlist, launch, reminder, review, restock. The site was a single long page with a tasting box builder. Emails came from the roaster in plain language, with one story per email and a single button.

Result

The first thousand boxes sold in nineteen days. By week six we had sold nearly two thousand and built an email list that still returns orders every month.

In their words

(03)

We had one shot at the launch. The plan was so clear that we spent the last week roasting, not panicking.
